Steps
Step 1
Take the grips off two G3s (don’t cut one of them) and prepare one G3 barrel
Step 2
Empty the Frixion Colors cap and keep its rubber part
Step 3
Put the rubber from step 2 on the front of the prepared G3 barrel and fix it with some tape
Step 4
In front of the Frixion Colors rubber, stack the G3 tip > Signo tip > G1 tip
Note: fixing the tips with tape is recommended
Step 5
Put 2 blocks of Anyball and the Lakubo grip on the front of the G3 barrel
Note: the two blocks at the very front of the Anyball are recommended
Step 6
Roll up the cut G3 grip and put it inside the uncut G3 grip
Step 7
Stack three HGG tips, put them in the Frixion Colors cap and plug them in with any grip
Note: fixing the HGG tips with tape is recommended
Note: I used an Anyball grip
Step 8
Put the grip from step 6 into the cap from step 7, then add any grip to plug the G3 grip in
Note: I think I used a Supergrip
Step 9
Put 2 blocks of Anyball and 7 blocks of D1-k grip over the Frixion Colors cap, and put an HGG backplug inside the D1-k grip
Note: the red part in the photo is the Anyball
Note: that HGG backplug really isn’t needed — even VAIN himself removed it — so it’s optional
Step 10
Push the barrel into the cap; if it wobbles, fix it with a little tape
Editor’s notes
This pen is really tough to make. It’s a fairly heavy single-ended mod that is still very easy to control — if you have time and enjoy a challenge, give it a try.
